Excision method with Stitches

This process for mole removal includes cutting into the skin deep enough to get rid of all the mole skin tissue, and stitching the skin after to avoid bleeding. This method is ideal when the moles are considered dangerous for e.g cancer or when it\’s on a flat surface.

Excision with Cauterization

Similar to the excision with stitching method, this also involves removal of the mole cutting in deep though the location is burnt with a cautery-tool as completion of the procedure. While burning the location of the mole avoids bleeding, stitching is not needed as well. This method often leaves the users dissatisfied, as this method leaves scars and also the smell of burnt skin is irritating to the nose.

Laser Mole Removal

The latest technology, which uses laser to remove the mole. It doesn\’t involve any cutting or stitching, which is a good thing and based purely on the evaporation of the tissues removed. This process isn\’t suggested when dealing with moles that are located very deep in the skin, since the laser light can not penetrate the skin deep enough to remove the mole fully.

Freeze Your Moles

This procedure is advocated only for the moles that are protruding. The first and foremost precaution taken is numbing the skin using an anesthetic. After the skin is sufficiently numbed, the surgeon uses a scalpel to remove the portion of the mole that\’s raised above the skin. This treatment may leave a mark on the skin which can be wither white or the color color itself.

Though the treatment is complete, care should be taken to avoid infection around the area and regular check-up post treatment is suggested, for a stipulated period of time.
